I have a IR3 with 14,000 cycles on it and today while playing started to chop balls reg and after cleaned went to check chrono.Found I could not get over 270 fps with reg screw all the way out.Changed to fresh HPA tank and still no good.I'm thinking it might be the mini reg but not sure how to check.

Thank you for any help you might give!

well I dont know anyone with a angel but that sure would eliminate the reg if I did.Do you think the ball choping has anything to do whith it? Because it even chops or breaks balls when shooting slow.

My freind had this problem on his Dark.. He had his reg set to MAX .. and couldnt shot consistantly or over 260. We later would out that it was because
a) his breech O-Ring was gone - that will make you loose air
b) little parts on the oring were in the lpr and hammer area.

Check those 2 things . 14,000 clicks your IR3 reg should be just fine.

It is quite likely an LPR prsssure problem or a worn exhaust valve. Most likely the LPR due to the paint breakage (unless you have a bad detent, or a paint/barrel problem) If you have a local service center have them check it out for you, if not drop me an e-mail.

Hey I got it fixed.
The mini reg was sticking and found that the spring stack was not indexed right.Cleaned reg and istalled spring washers properly. Then ran 3 drops of factory oil through it.
Works like new again and reg allows up to 319 + fps and rocked 200 balls at 12 bps with no breaks. THANX AGAIN GUYS!!!
AOG ROCKS:clap:

Snap ring pliers or even a good pair of needle nose pliers will work even if you have to file or grind them a bit to fit.
