Get the Halo. They work with the Fly's and have a higher feed rate than the eggs.

I'd get a ReLoader B. I've had feed problems with the Halos I've tried.
Just my $.02

halo with vic board is still a halo, and still has the same probs inherent to the regular halo =P then again, its all on preference and how well u kno ur ish =)

I used a Halo and had ballbreaks and that really often. I changed after with same settings to egg II z boarded and had no break. Ok after seeing the pictures of you and the sharpen edge in the halo i could have the same problem on my halo. For the next weekend i make this edge as smooth as possible and tell you if this helps.

Yea,... do that. I want to take a look at my friends reloader to see whats up with his. Also,... I want to test to see how sensitive the reloader is to sound by shooting another gun within close range to see how close the other gun can get before setting it off. You see,... when I'm at home,... I never have any problems,... but when Im at the field,... ball breakage like a mofo,... whats the difference between the field and my backyard? There are other players on the field, obviously. Right off the start with all the shooting that goes on,... my reloader might be smashing all the paint right there,... so when its time for me to shoot,... splat. I have a feeling my problems aren't over,... Empire needs to upgrade the board so that the player can adjust how sensitive the sensor is,... makes sence? I can't believe they didnt incorporate that initially.
haha iam the complete opposite, my gun will be messing up in my backyard, but when i bring it to the field or works fine lol. But yea last sunday my halo cracked a ball at the seem in my breech and my gun wouldnt shoot, but i think it was just cause the paint was bad.

Well im getting my fly today and i ordered a halo b w/ it. I did have an egg but the thing that slides open on it snapped off! But from what i heard that can be avoided by taking out onbe or both of the springs on the hinges. The halo does seem stonger though becasue it has a reinforced feed neck. I'd go w/ the halo.

go with a reloader! =P, i juss shot a pod, i got a force 4 and a reloader, and wow, its faster then the halo, definitely. since it goes off sound itll continuously feed around 28 bps (my drop tests were consistant 28 bps) even when ur firing 5 bps, so fast...so good... =P

How did you do a drop test with a sound activated loader? I doubt you were shooting 28 bps.

How do you do a drop test with a regular halo with a reflective eye? You can't,... you have to remove the hopper to do the drop test.
What I do is put my hand over the bottom of the feedneck of the Halo, turn it on so it builds tension, then move my hand. Works fine. You can do drop tests with Halos.
Drop tests are done without the hopper on the marker.

I know you can do one with a halo B, but how with a reloader B since it needs sound activation? I know what a drop test is.

I was replying to tribaloverkill.
I would like to know how a Reloader B does in a drop test as well.

Go with Reloader B or Halo B never an egg. Eggs work on impulses and shockers and cockers that bout it. They dont feed fast enough for the awesome fire power of the fly. Reloader B or Halo B. I personaly use the Reloader B just cause it is empire and the sound activation ofcourse.

I agree. I had mixed luck with the z-code Halo B, but im going to try a victory board this weekend and see how it works.
For the record, my Reloader B consistantly rips @ 22 (on the LCD) with no problems. Ive had it for about 3 months now.

I would have to agree the egg just doesn't keep up with the fly, but the egg fits and feels so nice on my fly i don't know For the speed the Halo Or the reloader b but for the feel and weight distribution i would say the egg

Well,... I use to drop tet the the reloader by placing two pens or something or that nature between my knuckles. I would then put one pen on one side of the feedneck and the other on the other side of the feedneck. With my hand covering the feedneck hole so that the balls dont come out and with teh balls already tensioned and ready to go,... I would remove my hand and then start swaying my hand back and forth tapping the feedneck until all the balls are out,... usually empties within seconds. Depends on your tapping,... if you dont do it right it will stop,... but now I tap where the O/I button is,... seeing the sensor is right behind it.
And how do you know that you're tapping at 28 bps?

One of my fellow paintballers here has problems when he shoots Hellfire paint through either his reloader B or a Halo B(so does his entire team- Full Force Factory).
They HAVE to shoot egg II's for tournaments because they have to shoot Hellfire paint.
Just a thought seeing as all 8 guys have the same exact problem.

You have obviously not used a halo on your fly or you would quickly agree that the egg is a ...fat ass...swinging side to side because of poor weight distribution....poorly constructed....and slow P.O.S. :thumbsdow
Use a halo and you will become a believer. ;)

a drop test with a reloader is simple, fill loader, then to start drop test, tap the side, once it starts spinning it will keep spinning due to the balls knocking around inside the hopper, it will keep doin so till its empty, or till there is only 2-3 balls in the hopper that didnt make nuff sound to get pushed out. drop test with a sound-activated hopper aint hard

Ok, gotcha. Just wasn't sure on that one.

I use a egg with a z board on my angel joy because it feeds as fast as a halo but with no ball breaks inside the loader.
