not that attractive looking, but that idea of an externally adjustable LPR seems liek it coulde be agood one.

its been done before by free flow, but this one doesnt seem as bulky.... might be worth a try

well the freeflow replaced the whole reg didnt it? this one just screws into were the plug goes. plus evolve makes some good stuff. im gonna try to get it my next paycheck, unless someone thinks its just a horrible thing to get.

i see flow and recharge problems....that and it really doenst help with input pressure at all....you still have to ajust the shims and all that crap.....so my only question is WHY

from reading the description, it seems that you set your lpr to the high end of the range using the shims, then you adjust it downward using this device. I guess it makes it easier to fine tune the lpr, since you don't have to add and remove shims any more.
I'd like to hear from one of the MTs before puting it on my gun.

that's how it works, but at the same time it restricts the air...that means recharge and flow problems, and for $70 total cost for US customers, i just dont think it's a good investment.

How would it restrict the air flow. Isn't it just moving the spring/shim pack?
I mean, there's no air flow *through* this product, is there? If there is, then I've totally misunderstood how it works.

ya i want to here from a tech first. that will probably help me decide.

Raoul has got it, there is no air restriction involved in reducing the pressure, to reduce the pressure the cap acts on the spring stack instead.

ah, my bad...i didnt take a real good look at how it works, thank's for correcting me

It looks just like another volumizer. I would get it if they made it either match my gun color or chrome. But other then the looks I really dont see the need to have one it does not take a lot to change a volumizer. Also I can see problems with this in tourneys that might requre a lock on adjustable lprs.

:tard: tourny lock? :tard:
look at the front, theres a place were an allen key goes, no need for a tourny lock becuase tools arent allowed on the field :niener:

i personally dont tune my lpr often so to me this looks like a waste of time. however those of you that always try new settings looking for the best performance may find this usefull.

im pretty sure u dont put volumizers on the lpr side unless u want decoration. At least i dont have one on that side just the valve side.

Im really not feeling the Evolve LPR. If its not a better, more easily adjustible and more consistant reg than the stock LPR, why buy it? Might as well just stick with stock. Id much prefer something like the Hoseless LPR mod (http://www.fearfactorypb.com/images/IMAG0236.JPG) if i were going to try any kind of LPR mod.
... On another note, that Angel lowrise is interesting though.

Peegee... could you perhaps further explain the concept design? I'd be very interested in trying it out on one of my demo (in-store) markers and doing a full review on it but at $70.00 that's quite costly for a product that may never be used again.
So for example on a Speed/A4 platform... you put on the exhaust guide side? How exactly does it regulate the pressure? Has WDP approved this product?

Ok again, it's not a reg. All it's doing is putting pressure on the spring/shim stack through the use of a set (grub) screw that's moving the whole pack in or out. Hence it goes on the LPR side, not the exhaust side.
But yea, it *is* a little pricey, esp. if it doesn't come in Black! :P

how exactly would you be fine tuning your lpr if you cant read your lpr pressure once that thing is on there?
unless a gauge is put on it, it would sound entirely useless to me...

DynastySSS, I agreed with you and no need to fine tune the LPR after you setup it up (I will save $70 for the low pressure ram from wdp).
