go look at ken's thread: http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?p=203879#post203879
at the bottom it explains how to get your gun working right with a HP tank. you just gotta change the order of the spring stack. good luck :)

well you said you took out a spring. in the thread, ken says you need to take out the spring and THEN put the springs back in the reverse order. did you do that?
also, what are your settings? operating pressure? LPR?

Or raise you dwell. LOL that is the whole problem right there. Everything else should be fine, its cause your dwell is set way too low.

the higher the dwell, the higher the FPS. lower dwell makes your gun quieter as less air is being used, but also less tolerant on paint.

Less air = air comes out fast as a hard burst. More air = air comes out as long bust. Because there is less air you need a higher pressure to reach the same FPS so short burst of HP air. Hard on paint. More air, less pressure, easier on paint.
Assuming that you did not adjust your minireg, lower dwell = less air = lower FPS.

Tribal, when we send guns out of the shop the dwell is set to 11 and the LPR is in the 50-55 range. That seems to work real well and I don't doubt Ken when he tells me. Anyway something else to look into is a hand held chrono, they are around $60 and are pretty handy.

I was thinking about getting one of those actually,... well ken said to set the DWELL to 12 so thats where it's at now,... that and the TR.
That's cool, listen to Ken and he will set you in the right direction. The hand helds are real nice. I've had one for about 5-6 years now and it helps a lot. It's nice to get stuff set up the night before and hit the field with your gun running smooth at the chrony. It's even nice when playing backyard ball, that way you know that there isn't anyone shooting hot. Safety should come 1st.

Yo just make sure your not using a high pressure tank, cuz thats wat happend to me. I wasnt able to shoot below 310 with a high pressure tank. Make sure that your compressed air tank is low pressure, cuz now im shooting perfectly.
