ok i hear all this stuff about people having problems with their gun/ or they cant get it to the settings they want!!!!
and almot everytime the person helping them responds with the answer well "first you have to break your gun in" my topic is about the "breaking point of the gun.
about howmany shots does it take until the gun is broken in??
if i dry fire my fly (with no paint hahah) will that be considered breaking it in ? or do i have to fire the gun with paint to get it broken in? thanx so mych :boobies: :doc:

I'd say to safely assume your marker is broken in it would take around 10 cases.

so to break in the marker i have to shoot paint.
cuz i was just gun fill my tank shoot til its empty an repeat the prcess about 6 times so that my gun would be broken in but you are saying that you have to shott paint through it ??

It would be best, yes. Air alone would still do your gun good though as it cycles the pneumatics and gets air into the passages.

Yesterday, I was rechronoing my Fly just to see and it began to jump up in velocity even as I watched it. I had turn down the MiniReg to 200 Psi to keep it below 300 fps with not one going below 290 fps. It stayed that way for the rest of the day and never missed a beat. It has 25,000 cycles on it.
Last night I was able to drop my LPR pressure to 55 psi and turn the Fly down to just below 200 psi and still getting 290 and up, Not one going above 300. Zero "kick" or "climb"
I can say that untill that point the marker wasnt quite broken in and now it has settled down to a marker that gets hits when I just think about it.
