What do you think WDPs next creation will be like?

As the title sais......I wonder how they can get much better then the fly. Accept for maybe a newer faster board and some kind of change in the eyes and different milling I don't see how they could get any better. What would really be nice is if WDP came out with a new version of the LCD with eyes and new board with some crazy milling and colors. :feed:

Tough to improve on the Fly...but my guess is the pneumatics are due since the electronics have gotten so much attention lately. They'll keep developing newer and more powerful "eyes" even though the ones out now are killer, but that's why it's progress.

I know it'll never happen, but I'd love to see an Eclipse version of the Fly. An Adrenalin and Dark version would be interesting as well...

Though I heard a while back that WS would be doing another dark angel....maybe not a fly but probably the next angel model that comes out.

Why sit back? You snooze your loose in the consumer goods market. WDP isn't dumb and they have a method to thier marketing strategy madness. Just look here people complain about all the new guns out of WDPs stable and how it makes their gun worth less but they are still buying the newest and greatest WDP gun when they come out. Quit crying and suck it up.
On another note maybe Eclipse or Adrenaline will come back around full circle and drop the SP. Situations like that happen all the time.

Weight reduction. Sure it feels light now but using "super metals" the weight of the gun can drop to less than one pound. Also there is much to gain in the efficiency area. Someone some where has a paintball gun on the drawing board that does not need an external air supply. Can we shoot paintballs at 300 FPS with out air? Nay sayers that say it can't be done need to get out of the way of the people who will do it.

Kinda like WDP should upgrade the valves and make them electronic....thats what my friend is doing to his own creation its gonna be a hybrid...don't wanna give out what type valve he is using but its gonna be sweet.

the next gun from wdp shouldnt be an angel. they should make a completely redesigned gun.

it would be nice if they tried to do something with consistancy, i mean dont get me wrong my IR3 is always +- 4 over the crono...but it would be cool if they had something that was garunteed to get 285 every single time no matter what. And also efficiancy, how cool would it be to get 4000+ shots from a 68/4500 system!!! :smile:

well, it's a given that it will be smaller, lighter, and more advanced than anything that's ever hit the market...

but i do see internal eyes (not more powerful, it takes about 850Nm to see strait through certain paints, WDP eyes are up there at 820Nm, more than powerful enough)
lighter, shorter, and crazily milled body
lower voltage electronics
better flowing LPR
better flowing inline
lighter and faster ram and hammer (but they'll think of a way to make it lower pressure)
dovetail mount on grip frame (cobra beat em to it, though)


i also see a revision of the angel AIR, and i think a lot of you will agree that it needs it....maybe an infinity barrel kit, but that's questionable.....and maybe some different apparel like harnesses and masks, but that's also questionable.

just some ideas that popped into my head that i know a lot of people would go for....maybe they'll use ultrasonics as an eye detection system instead of eyes (before you flame me, in theory it would work very well)
