Charger Question

I recently bought a 2001 Angel LCD pakage on ebay this is a my first angel but i was wondering if my Angel nickel metal hydride car charger will work if i dont have the switch, i just have a yellow key tab, my friend told me it would fry the board any help with this would be great, thanks

Yes it will work IF the battery is a NImh in the marker now. Most older LCDs that came with the yellow tab key were Nicad batteries, not NImh. Only safe way to find out is to remove the markers battery and look what type it is marked on the side of it. Aslo removing the yellow tab key is the same as flipping the on/off switch (newer Marker) to the on position.

Unless someone took the switch off and soldered on the key instead, it's not the right battery.
