Just like it does on any other Angel. It's an awesome barrel, I always use mine. By the way, it's 'sceptor', not 'skeptor' ;)

I bought a Scepter system for my 'cocker and it werkt great.

When I bought my Fly, I just bought a new Angel back for it and it actually werx better than it did on my old 'cocker!

Edit: PM me for a great online store to buy it from.

Thank you for the input. I have been looking at different barrel kits. I bought the evil pipe and it was really loud, and I really dont like the smart part stuff.
The Sceptor looks to be built much better.
Thanks,
KD

I just received a black dust finished Sceptre set for my JD Fly. It works very well. The only thing is the JD finish is more semi-glossy than the dusted black Sceptre. I think the gloss barrel set would have looked just fine.

How did you get a dust Scepter? I didn't know they made one.

FYI (mustangsrule) the Scepter is not going to be much if any quieter than a Pipe. I own both and the Scepter might be slightly louder. The Scepter is certainly better made, but the Pipe cleans much better (in the rare case of a break). The teflon impregnated anodizing that Powerlyte applies leaves the interior sleeve surface porous as compared to barrels like the Pipe or the Scepter fronts. (we actually looked at it with a video microscope, I guess I had too much time on a Friday :nerd: ) The sleeves do line up perfect and the barrel shoots straight like any good barrel does.

I was going to say that too. Even though the Scepter has dual rows of ports at the tip, that's it. There's no porting behind the tip so it does 'bark' a little, though not as much as the Pipe.

I'm going to buy an Ultralight back so I can use the 18" tip from my daughter's 10-piece Empire kit. (Empire tips fit onto Dye backs)

Powerlyte will gladly make a dust set for you with no additional charge. It will just take longer.

Yes Panzerr, as he is known on these forums, uses a PL Scepter kit on his Fly, dust tip. Very nice, he loves it.
