Front Playas like 'em cause they're light...anything to help 'em get to the 50 on the break I guess....

I'm an old back player with rebuilt knees, so me getting to the 50 on the break isn't something I have to worry about usually....

i dont see how a lighter gun will get you to the 50 faster BC after repeated times in practice of running to the 50 with a heavier marker you will get there just as fast through training....now after training with a heavier marker then switching to the lighter setup i could see there being potential for making it to the 50 faster. my 2 cents

yeah there are lots of different thoughs. I noticed a difference in chroning with the regular UL tip compared to the Stiffi tip. about 10-5 fps slower with the UL. I also noticed that it shot clean a lot faster than any other barrel I've used. That being said the aluminium and carbon fibre promptly separated with one dive into the 50, little jaring action and it fail, not impressed with that. I did get 3 kills with just the 6inch UL back LOL so that's all you need!

I have a stiffy, freak, boom stick and a G10 OTP barrel. Honestly, they don't seem to be any better than the other on the normal speed ball fields to me. I have practiced with all of them and even did bench test and they worked well. I competiton shoot military rifles so I thought the bench test would REALLY find out the diffence if there was one. Nothing was clearly better than the other.
I have come to the conclusion that most high end barrells tend to be the same. This is of course just MY oppinion and others will argue. "Personal Prefference"

I like them because they are really light.

Their light weight is an advantage, and a dis. I have one of those 32degree ones. It is alot lighter and makes snapshots alot faster with less weight to swing around. My 16" armson stealth barrrel, at the other end of the spectrum, sucks for close-up because it is not only bulky, but heavy. As the game goes on it starts feeling like I have a brick tied to the end of my barrel. This is what makes the CF nice. OTOH, most of my close up games dont need a long barrel even...In fact, my new Doc's Machine Freak Tip is all I need. A real stubby barrel. So I gotta say, if you are up close, you dont need CF anyways cuz you should be using a stubby. I suppose if you are a mid range player then it might make sense...length for when you play mid, but light weight for later on when you start playing up close...but the other problem I see some having is that the CF barrels arent the most durable...they can crack as easily as a ceramic.
