Eye Q durability

How easy/hard is it for the Angel eyes to go down? Let's say in hard play, like tournaments or X-ball games where the markers take a lot of abuse. I know it's covered, but is there anything like hard impact or debris that could stop it from working properly?

If you've had a look at how the eyes are set up, it's almost impossible to tear them up.
