neat cell phone trick

So, I'm out to the paintball park this afternoon, just out for another friendly practice with my team and this guy who is supplying the paint for the next tourny at the particular field that I play at comes over to take a look at my A4, first he dogs me for using a Revy on it and gives me an apache, so I'm thinkin this guys rocks, a few minutes later, he comes over to my table with his cell phone, punches in a couple of numbers and puts it against my gun, when he is finished with his little trick my gun is ripping like crazy, he mentioned some mumbo jumbo bout opening it up to like 60 BPS, I kinda looked at him like he had a cock growing out of his head, but wasn't about to argue with a guy who just made my gun do some wicked ☼☼☼☼ and gave me a hopper, my only question is, what the ☼☼☼☼ did he do exactly??? Anybody out there able to help me get a clue?? Also, as soon as I cycled the power switch the gun no longer rips like mad and bounces about 5 round per trigger pull, thanks any input would rock. :dinner:
