Angel a4
running a hp max flo with 400 to reg
and 200 to gun
i turn it on, shoot once, the bolt sticks forward, and air leaks down the barrel, when i shoot again it makes a loud clicking noise, like the solenoid clicking but with a little air to it, then i push the bolt back again, same thing OVER AND OVER
i have never shot twice in a row, i dropped lube in it too....
anyone?

Let me guess...you took the grip frame off recently?
Open up the left hand grip and take the red and white wire for your noid and plug it in the BOTTOM slot labled "sol" not "hop".

did you lube the bolt? if you lube it too much it causes the bolt to expand.

lube it too much?? you're not supposed to lube a delrin bolt

Your supposed to adda drop or 2 of lube to ANY bolt because it keeps the internals cleaner... You arent supposed to lube it like a regular bolt though.

well....NO. no need to lube the bolt. that is what delrin is for, a self lubricating plastic.

Its better to run a drop or two through your gun, so that the metal on the gun is a little bit lubed. It keeps it from getting dirty or anything.
Or some delrin bolts like the WorrBlade bolt have orings on them as well as all delrin, therefor they need to be lubed a little around the orings.

Lubing the bolt on Angels is unnecessary and should be avoided. It sounds like you need to back out your ball detents a little bit. The covers should only be hand tightened. Take the covers off and check to make sure of proper alignment of the detent ball and the spring and then hand tighten the covers back on. The lube for the marker that should be used to keep the internals from getting hosed is to apply a few drops of Love Juice into the macroline fitting at the bottom of the mini-reg and then dry fired 50+ times to work the lubricant through the marker.

Trashdog, I think you are confused a bit. Delrin should never be lubed as it absorbs the oil and swells.
Other guns that do not use delrin should have the bolts lubed to cut down on friction.

Back to the original problem, you might want to put more than 200 into the gun. You also want to check your LPR to make sure the pressure is where you want it to be.

Nope, a little lube doesnt hurt delrin, if u dont believe me waste another $35 and get the same bolt uhave, and lube it just a little. It will fit exactly the same as the unlubed one and stay cleaner and smoother (only be a little)
If what you said is true, what do you do with bolts like the superfly which is half delrin half aluminium?? lube 1 half?? lol

"The Shocktech Super Fly Bolt combines our 3 hole design with a cupped tip to cradle the ball. Our bolts have an aluminum shaft for strength and delrin anywhere the bolt may contact the inside of the gun for reduced friction."
The aluminum does NOT come in contact with the gun.

200psi into the gun should be enough assuming that a volumizer is installed and the proper dwell proportion is put into place. I use to run my A4 at about 175psi with the largest volumizer.
What's the LPR at? How about the valve stem seal, is in gnarled? Have you ensured that the LPR seals are intact?

Ok well I've had no problems using a drop or 2 of Gold CUp Seal on any Delrin bolt that I have owned or used of my friends. If yours works well without lube, or has problems with it thats good for you and Im sure you have things worked out the way you want it :D
I will continue to lube delrin bolts as I do because I've never seen any problems in doing so. :)
Let's stop spamming this thread about it lol.
