and also wut is the best all around hopper for the angel between the halo, evo2, and empire b
also i have a impy and an angel but the evo doesnt fit into my impy so im gunna have to sand it down will the twisted lock gate on the fly force tighten enuff to hold the evo2 after i have sanded it ? thanx for any help u can give

:dito: im so lost.... let me put it to you this way... if you have a fly get a halo i woulndt get the reload b\c what is faster light or sound,,,light...second if you have a regular 4, speed, or f4 i would get a evo2 and i know that you will have no probs..but if u wanna take a chance like me get the halo no matter what....

hey sorry i will rewrite my post
ok i know the evolution 2 gets 21 with the upgraded Z board
i know the halo gets like 35 or sumthn close with the upgrade victory board
i wud like to know how fast the stock reloader B is
also wut would you guys prefer for an angel fly since im prolly gunna get one very soon?
my second statement/questions is this.... the halo and evo feed neck dont fit into my impy so im stuck using a revy ahah which isnt fun .. so if i sand down the feed neck on either the halo or evolution 2(so it will fit into my impy which is my current set up) will the gated feed on the angel fly be able to tighten enuff on the evolution or halo ...so basically im asking if i sand down the feed necks on the hopper will i b able to use them on my impy and angel ? i hope i made it more clear

Gotta couple answers for ya.

1.) Just sand it down so it's pretty snug, and you'll be fine switching to the gated feed.

2.) Since your getting a fly there is absolutely no reason not to get a true force feed loader (halo or reloader).

3.) The difference between the halo and reloader are how it detects when to feed. A halo has a eye, reloader uses sound. Personally, I am very satisfied with my Halo, hands down, it's a great loader. I also just don't like the idea of having a loader that relies on sound, but maybe that's just me.

4.) If you money's no object get a halo with victory board and rip drive.

If money is not an issue I would go for either a halo or a q-loader. I run a q-loader on my speed and the profile plus speed is awesome. The halo is great too but for me a prefer a target under my barrel rather than over my gun.

ok so i know im not gunna get the reloader cuz the sound thing is not good enuff for a fly i dont think but i dont know wut i shud get between the evo and halo but since every one says halo i definately keep tht in mind how fast is the stock halo versus the victory board.....wuts the rip drive ? and how much xtra is it?

EvoII with Z board is a sure bet. Halo can be iffy, not to mention they break often. What kind of angel by the way? Halo on Fly is a sure bet, so we can safely assume that the MT conversion kit will work with the Halo as well, except for possibly the LCD since it has only one detent (but that's speculation on my part). If you really want to lay paint get the Halo though. The rip drive is for when you run out of batteries, it's not worth it. The V35 board will be worth your investment though.

Not trying to flame you ^^ but you may want to specify that in your own experience halos have gone down. In my own (i have two one smoke, one blue.. both z coded) and my former teams (All halo's) That's about 8 halos that have not had any problems at all. Basically, problems arise from one of two things... bad paint, and dirty eyes resulting from bad paint. Use good paint (as in not month old stuff that has been baking in the sun) and you'll be fine in my opinion. But hey it's all personal opinion I guess.

What makes sense to me is the following: Buy a halo, if it works for you, keep it.. if it doesn't you'll have no problem selling it and getting a zboarded egg. Problem solved.

Halo, forget the rip.
It was free. So I couldn't pass it up. Plus I like the idea of not "slamming" the first ball in the stack into the breech.

thanx guys so much for ur input and help but i think im gunna go with the evolution 2 with a z-board just cuz they are fast as hell (no one wihtout bounce can outshoot a evo 2 with z board that i know of) and i hear the halo can be querrky an so i think the evo is a better made and more durable hopper thanx for all ur guys input

I'm in an area with a lot of tourney players, not a whole deal of woodsballers or scenario players really and for the great majority they know how to take care of their gear. We're tough on our equipment due to the style of play. That may be a part of the equation. I do know that not a single game goes by that someone doesn't walk off the field with some issue with their Halo. The EvoII is not perfect, the lids break a lot on them. However, taking into account the price of each, performance and durability if I had to have only one I'd go EvoII.
If I had the luxury, I'd say get a Halo and have a EvoII as a backup. This does require purchasing two loaders though, perhaps you can get the EvoII used to save yourself some money.
