Volumizer Question...

I finally bought a volumizer for my IR3. I only purchased one because I've heard rumors about 2 of them do nothing more than one of them does.

Now, I need to know which side the volumizer goes on, left or right; or does it even matter?

no offense, but I hope you got one that you think looks cool because now you've got a machine and annodized piece of aluminum that still does absolutely nothing. However the general consensus is that it goes on the left hand side of the gun (looking at it from the front) in front of the LPR, if you put it on the left it will be in front of the battery

It goes on the same side as the LPR, Valve, Ram etc....

i got it on the right side.. with the barrel facing outward..

Those rumors are true, 2 volumizers don't do anything. And one doesn't seem to help either. On an Angel one will cover the battery, the other the LPR. Make sure you put the volumizer on tight or you'll be looking at an exploded view of your LPR.

...and the speed limit is STILL 300fps... that's why I sold my bike...it like to go fast, but the limit was 55....

the idea is that if the amount of air that would it would take to shoot a paitball 285 fps , with a volumizer could shoot 300fps, that you could then lower your pressure to shoot 285fps and get more shots per fill (like 5). :tongue: Makes it super accurate and gets awesome range with my 21" SNIPER barrel :tongue:

i bought 1 black dye volumizer because i NEEDED to customize my cnc ir3 some how. thats the 1 thing i hate about angels. they are too perfect right away. you cant change anything besides the damn barrel and bolt. it makes me mad. my impulse was soo crappy that i evne had to spend 30 bucks on a trigger, but see that was fun. half of getting nice guns is customizing them. so i bought the volumizer to make myself feel better i guess. oh well angels rip and id take performance over upgradeability anyday.

Lol, yeah, I had to get a volumizer and afang grip so my iR3 wouldn't look naked. Thats about it though.

I like shooting Spyders....with a Glock 23!! (humor, not to bring Kingman, ASPCA or PETA down on top of me) I thought about volumizers for looks, but that is more to wipe down...and I am tired at the end of a paintball day.
