Here is the best way to do it.
Take off the rubber grips completely untill you are done.
Unplug the wires from the board (you do NOT want to rip one of these by accident).
Take out the two grip frame screws.
Looking at the top of the trigger there are two screws.
The one towards the front of the gun controls return stroke (how much the trigger is allowed to move forwards).
The one in the back controls overtravel (how much the trigger can move AFTER the gun fires).

The idea here is going to be to get the overtravel down so that the gun fires and the trigger stops moving back.

After you have that, take down the return stroke untill the pull is short enough for you.

Each time you adjust the trigger for return stroke, you gotta put the frame back on and see if it still fires etc. A bit of a pain, but thats life. Overtravel can be checked without putting the frame back on, but you have to plug the wires back in.

Once you have the trigger adjusted, plug the grip frame on, plug in wires, put grips on.

huh?? if it's the stock trigger then the screw under the return spring is the one that changes the return stroke, and the frame doesn't have to be on the gun to check that. and you do have to put the frame back on to check the overtravel. if the trigger's an aftermarket, like one that fits a speed, you have to put the frame back on the gun to check both of them.

theres also a thread in the speed forum..try seaching "the cure to a lighter pull" or something along thoes lines. it explains how if you bend the opto leaf a tad at a time it can get either a sick bounce on it, or a nice short pull. but be careful if its too short then it will even fire when you tilt the gun up lol so be careful if u do it the other way!

not to mention you can ruin your board if you bent the leaf wrong...its a rare occurence but it happens.

I'm trying to make my trigger pull lighter too...Which pivot point should i have it at ? I'm going to mess with the return stroke and overturn as well....

i have mine in the back one and i love it. however, i heard that the front hole has the shortest pull, but it's supposed to be a heavier pull. don't know though, i always have used the back and mine's really light, and is less than 1 mm long.

Ok I'll try that one. I have it in the first one and the max I can hit is 12 bps....

i have my pull in the middle pivot point. Im able to reach 14 BPS with a lengthened after travel. This part of the trigger pull is very usefull on the optoboard, if you set it correctly you can allow your trigger to return just to the point of activation while walking, so that no further pull is wasted.
