Open the Breach?!

Just received my Dark IR3 a few days ago and noticed that it's kinda hard to open the breach with the bolt in it. Is it normal? I know that's it's this metalrod from the bolt, that touches the Part of the RAM, that makes it hard to open. Any suggestions?

have you aired it up? if the bolt isn't all the way back it won't open. Either air it up, or use a battle swab to push the bolt back

It's shooting great. No problems with it at all. I was just wondering if that was normal. Even with the bolt in the rear position it won't open very easily. Gotta use some strength.

sounds like your Ram might need a little adjusting.......your breech should snap into place

Just remove the rear cover on the marker and turn the ram slowly counter clock wise (using the 'ram tool") untill the breach clicks/snaps easily open and closed. Also refer to you users manual for this adjustment....Good Luck....Chuck

my breech knob always gets stuck...i pull as hard as i can on the breech knob and the metal rod is just stuck in the hole..so i always have to get some string..wrap it around the breech knob wrap it around my hand a few times and pull like the dickens! this can not be normal

Put some DOW33 on it, and that will solve it. I had that problem, put some of the DOW33 on it, and I have not had any problem's with it yet.
