Yesterday my gun was adding about 3-4 shots after some strings. It would'nt happen all the time, but I would like to eliminate all of the bounce if possible. My TR was at 13-15, and the trigger acitvation point is near the end of the pull with just a little over travel. Does having the acitivation point in a certain are make it bounce more? I would like to get the gun to be fast and rip, but without any bounce or added shots at the end. If you need anymore info let me know.
Thanks!

I found better luck in eliminating bounce with the activation near the front of the pull, with less forward travel and a longer rear travel configuration. Heck, I don't even get bounce with a TR of 21!

You could always set the TR to 1 and eliminate "bounce" all together

that theory is not always true, i had my trigger at a point where it didnt seem that TR did anything at all because i would get mad bounce.

What kind of trigger setting caused that?
Hey Matt, I also sent you a PM a while ago about not getting my notification emails. Have you had a chance to look it over? :)
Thanks!

lol yea i get like 5 extra shots on tr 13 with the exact same trigger set-up as you. it only happens when i really get on it (like 15-17 bps) and the bounce kicks in.

Mine does the same thing, and my TR is set to 2.
I can rip off a bout 20 shots and pull my hand away and it'll add 3 or 4. It seems like the board is 'accumulating' the number of trigger pulls and fires that number, whether the trigger is being pulled or not. All settings stock in Mode 1...
Something else I've noticed, it will not shoot over 17BPS if the MROF is set to 18, with the eyes on. If I change the MROF to 21, it'll shoot 20... go figure.

I might be wrong, but I think by changing the TR to 1, you disable the feature. That's what I had to do on mine. I had the trigger so sweet, that even at TR 6 I was experiencing what the others are talking about. Insanely fast gun. I guarantee at tournaments they'll be forcing TR 1 soon enough...

TR 1 is still creating some artifical bounce, however it's minimal enough to where with the proper trigger setting you should experience no bouncing issues. In my experience the majority of bouncing guns have very minimal return/after travel causing the TOE to bounce back.
Perhaps people that are experiencing bouncing issues should look there if they are not satisified.

I have tried my trigger set up both "long/loose" " short/tight" etc. etc. ad naseum. I cant get the trigger to "bounce" consistently on any setting. I can get it to rip up to a whole 18 bps.
My friends say its cause I have "cock trigger finger" and I am too "ham fisted" I say "so what? just wait untill I get used to the darn thing"

You can only use that excuse for so long.

Return/after travel, as in over travel?
Zearofearo, I get the added shots with low rof. LOL! LCD only reads 14bps which I only got once with eyes on.

Return/after travel, as in over travel?
I'm referring to distance the trigger travels from the firing point back to the fully extended 'rest' position.

I had this same problem when I made my trigger Realy "tight" I perfer a really small pull (like I had with my IR3). All I did was open the travel up one click on each wheel and the unwanted bounce went away. I have my dwell at 8 and my tr at 10 (the middle of the scale) and it rips supper fast (I have hit 24bps) with very minimal "after shots" (mabey one ball a split second after my last pull).
If you do the Moogle trigger mod, and set your toe right (with loc tight) and don't make your pull to short, you can get your Fly to rip (halo needed) with a fairly light pull. You just can't make it to tight.

Thanks.
So too tight, as in too short?

yes. the 4s need a little more trigger travel than the 3s did.
BTW the "tr" setting on your marker is there to 'try' to help eliminate a natural occurance with high ROF markers. The recoil (sp) of the marker jolts the trigger back enough to make it fire again.
You simply need to find the "happy medium" between a nice "short pull" "light" trigger and "long pull" "stock/tighter" trigger. once you find that ( you will know because it will bounce alot at 21 but not at 1) just adjust the TR untill you get "just enough" bounce. You may need to play with it a little to find that "perfect" set up, but thats what it's all about, right.
hope this helps.
