the guy that has this demo fly got it for about 1200, and he's willing to sell it to me. should i go for this? what kind of things should i look out for before i purchase it? can anybody tell me what kind of things are involved in a demo gun? is it probably just one of the flies that they brought to tourneys for people to test out? thanks in advance

man i would get it i got a demo fly blue.. but the only things that you need to cheak is that the bolt is in good shape because the demo mode (mode 6) shoots so incredably fast that the bolt has some wear on it if it is bad ask for a new one they did for me....also when they open the grip or ask them to thier is a like metal thing that the triger slides accros when you pull it ask them to grease it becasue it has been used..... oooo wait also just cheak that the plug for when it chargers make sure that it goes in good and charges that is just what happened to mine they replaced the board but other than that go for it man!!

oh, did your fly come with pretty much everything a new fly comes with? like manual and box and whatnot? or was it just the gun? how old are these demo guns typically?

1. Dealers aren't supposed to disclose the purchase amount of a maker from a company.
2. I hope that 200 is a typo, more like 1200
3. If it is 200, then it's a load of BS or there was a misunderstanding in the price

Why buy a demo fly for 1200-1250 when can get a brand new one still in the shrink wrap for 1295.00? Doesn't make since to me. The warm fuzzies of owning something brand new is worth the 50-100.00. =D
