How do you know when you have snapped the cops rod? I don't use cops so I am not sure how tall it should be. I am very careful cleaning when I chop or get a barrel break

Yours may not be snapped, but worn down. After 30k shots or so mine was VERY worn down and i replaced it with the included spare.

As long as you can still get the COPS to pass self test I wouldn't mess with it, "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

I am still looking for an answer.....The length matters even though you can get "pass" during sensitivity test? I really hate having a protrusion in the chamber. In reality, I don't use the cops option, not needed when using a Halo (personal opinion). I trimmed my sensor to the point that it protruded only about .003-.005", and it still "passes". Opinions?

I was wondering because it looks like it might have snapped. I don't use cops and I have only had the gun for about 4 weeks. I have about 10k on the gun with about 9k being paint cycled thru. I remember somewhere reading not to use a straight shot thru the barrel. I haven't but it still looks worn. I will take it apart and check like you said. thanks again!

Thanks for the opinion, too. It is my trade (moldmaker/diemaker) that makes me a little bit picky about some things. By the way... This is a great place to learn about the markers. To whoever started this, thanks.

Just be super resourceful like me and make one out of a plastic dart tip.
