I've been having some velocity fluctuations lately so I decided to clean my regs good. I was just wondering when re-assembling the mini-reg should you put any oil/grease on the small piston face seal or if it should be left dry?

thanks

Grease it and then after you reassemble it put some oil in the macro and dry fire a few times to get everything lubed up.

I believe you should always grease any oring. It will help it seal, prevent breaking, and keep it from drying out.. Although I have been wrong b4.

I also noticed that when I just cleaned my ENTIRE gun, I noticed a major change in the numbre of shims that I had in my LPR. (for example, I had like say 8 shims and was at 55 on my gauge. I cleaned it and put the same 8 in. My LPR was over 100. I am now down to just two shims to get to 55-60.)

So keep that in mind when checking pressures and velocities.

That's kinda just like chronoing your gun. It takes a few shots to get it normal after you tinker with it. With you taking apart your whole gun it may need some time to get back together and everything. If that made any sense, I kinda confused myself with this post.

I know what you are saying. That was will all the "settings" shots. I will still way off. The Speed just likes new, clean grease!!!!!
