I belive this is a type of adjustable lpr seen on some ans cockers but does anyone have some info on it. Its instaled in the front, right end cap under the barrel. http://www.diehardpaintball.com/Images/Player_Profiles/2003/june2.jpg
I have also seen a small micro hose installed into the screw in the upper portion between the end caps and connected to a lpr in the right end cap also, whats that all about?

i believe that's the freeflow mod or one of those other lpr mods.

as i've heard the only thing it gives you is a bad headache

Yes i have only seen 1 person who has succesfully set it up right. I cant remember his name but he was on pbnation and posted about it sometime ago. Everybody else just faild at it. He says it actually helps a bit but wont do as much as everybody thinks. I wouldnt suggest tring because more than likely it will be a waste of your time/money. Unless you can find that guy on pbnation and ask him how he set his up. I also belive he had a vid of him shooting his gun and sticking his finger down the feedneck( i belive that is the same guy).

the thing is that even tho he may have managed to get it to work on his marker doesn't mean he would be able to get it to work on another marker. Even Freeflow admits it's a pain in the ass to make work right...IMO it's just not worth the money or the hassle to try and make it work.

There's a guy at the field who has one. Not only do they look kinda like poopie, but they don't work so hot either. Moogle basically nailed it, they just give headaches. And as far as only one person out of quite a few that actually set there's up right on PBNation is also saying a lot, there are a lot of people on that site, and only one is a pretty bad ratio.

bos, the person youre talking about is probably me262, the owner of fear factory....that setup right there is actually relatively easy to set up, just plug a few holes and make an adapter. the one on mine is a modified jackhammer into a hoseless version, vaporworks tried to copy it and failed miserabally.

freeflow was on crack when they designed it, there's so much more volume that can be attained, less o-rings that can be used, etc...

the whole reason behind a new external LPR is because of the increased flow rate and easy ajustment. you can still check the lpr pressure (while shooting on the hoseless version), and you can attain a higher volume area with an external LPR, and i must admit the hoseless LPR looks very good on my angel. i would NOT recommend freeflow, just because of thier horrable design, the only people that have pulled it off flawlessly is me262 and myself.

what about using something like an aka scm. not too sure exactly sure how this mod works but if its anything like an lpr on a matrix then i would say that the scm would work great

but theres really not that much use from the front mounted lpr modification. just stick to the angel a.i.r. going into the WDP mini-regs with perfectly tuned internals. i really dont see any point in putting something not WDP thats just a pain to setup. if the gun is setup properly anyway, theres no point in trying to fix something that already works so well.

It's more work than it's worth. Don't waste your money.
