IR3 board to A4 board?

OK i was online and i saw that they sell an A4 board and the screen with it is it possible to switch it out on the IR3 so then basically you would have the A4 bps and everything?

Not possible as of yet, the internals run on different voltages and the batterys are the same. You would also not have the same rate of fire, as the internals got a major overhaul to step up to 31bps.

The board would most likely fit physically but there are to many internal differences between the two gun for it to work.

I have heard of owners putting speed and A4 boards in IR3s. You should replace the battery with a spped/a4 batter/charger also.

The main differance on the internals from the A4 to the IR3 is flow. The A4s flow alot better since the passages are opened up which allows the marker to be dialed down to lower pressures.

the ir3 is more than capable of 31 bps mechanically, the selenoid is higher voltage so your battery wont last as long, but everything should swap fine...the sensi stuff fits where cops is, so in theory everything should convert fine.

Well from what ive heard people have installed the A4 board with all the stock IR3 parts, battery and all, so using your ir3 battery and noid you wont have any problems. But since it woule be extra strain on your board, id suggest getting the A4 battery, other then that, you will have an Ir3 with debounce, 31bps and sensi.

u could also go to www.theangelguy.com and look into the new Predator board for most angels. new board, new magnetic trigger (up to 33bps), new eyes, eye covers, no battery other than light one(its not where the normall battery is on angels, its replacing the lcd) and a sexy Predator logo if they have them yet, ive heard of peopl enot getting the light up yet and will send it back for one. its $350 BUT if you send in your working board and battery they will take off $100 so $250. I would personally go that way since you get a lighter gun because of battery AND new eyes.

the weight difference is what...like 4 oz....why not do what nickdeveau is doing with fear factory or wait for the MT retro for around the same price...IMO you get a lot more out of it

and how much are the other boards/mods your talking about mamba juice? you can get the pred for 250 when you send in your board to the angel guy.

i'm not going to turn this thread into another big argument...if you want to know of another modification you should talk to nickdeveau, he happens to be getting it done soon. then there's the MT retro, both offer more than TAG IMO.

but thats not for IR3s yet so i would have to wait most likely forever bc the Speeds and the A4s are first which is understanbable
