my angel CHOPS!!!

i am a frontman on my team i am a fast shooter and my speed keeps CHOPPING!!! i have a halo B and AIR on it got any ideas how i can stop the CHOPPING!!!

Ram alingement is the key!!!! Some people have no luck with their Halos and Speed combo. I have one, and have no probs. Check the ram....to start!!

Search is a good thing. Most likely it's your hopper though. The Halo+Sensi is a bad combination.

Let me know. When I first got my Egg with z, it chopped like 3 times. I barely touched my Ram, nad has been great since. Put my Halo on, GREAT!!!!

my speed works fine with both my egg yboard and my halo just make sure ur sensor is ok and test it. also just make sure you are calibrating it everytime you turn the speed on

That's why you might be chopping. You need to fire about 7-10 rounds at about 1 ball per second after you turn the gun on.

The catch with a HALO and Speed is to set up the gun correctly. Ken has a good thread on calibrating the Sensi either in here or the A4 forum check that out for your calibrating proceedure.
Now for the chopping, Firemedic is right you'll need to be sure your ram is set correctly to keep balls from rolling back against the bolt face. Another thing to try is to strech the detent springs just a hair. Be sure to do them both the same amount. Next with the GUN DEGASSED remove the barrel put on the hopper with some paint, turn the hopper on and let it feed the ball stack. Now after ensuring the gun is degassed again look down into the breech from the front of the gun. If you see more than just a touch of the next ball in the stack that's your problem and you might need to tweek the ram just a bit more.
Try those.

Forgot one thing try raising your dwell 1ms

Adjust your ram (move it forward till you feel a click when you open and close the breach)
Try a soft face bolt to prevent a possible roll back
Check you detents. Stretch the springs if need be
Charge the gun fully before every day of paintballin
Make sure you got fresh batteries on your halo
If it double feeds, adjust the torque on your halo
Try Ken Crane's Speed Settings.
Try a different batch of paint.

i dont know why peopel have problems or say you need to calibrate, i never calibrate, i just turn the gun on and rip it, the first few shots are throttled but after a second it kicks in, iv never yet broke a single ball in by speed, going on 20,000 rounds since i bought it a 2 months ago, i dont use volumizers, my LPR is 59, dwell 14, sensi mode 3

If you read kens calibration theard that's exactly why your first shots are throttled as you put it. You are actually calibrating the sensi and just don't realize it.
