well i got my speed about a week ago and i am kinda dissappointed with the accuracy of it....it is new soo maybe it is still in its "break in period" it has alittle kickback... also i am using a a4 bolt and a 18 dye boomstick (which i got for $30) so dont flame me because it is 18.....it has had around 500 shots at least...i increased velocity a bit made it just a tinch more accurate so jw wat u guys think it is or wat...

P.S. i have seen many speed owners switching to a shocker and i am wonderin if a shocker is any more accurate or wat

paint to barrel match is porbly bad, (But personally I hate the infinity barrel, other people love theres, they are fine for speedball i guess, but recball long shots are a no no, unless you have a perfect match.

I bought a freak kit, my gawd does it rock hard core! I was hitting my mark all day!!!

most likely a paint to barrel match. Unless marked the boomstick is a .688

does anyone know what a dye boomstick is... is it .688 or what?? also how could i tell if it is a good paint/barrel match w/o knowing the width of the barrel?

Like I said above, unless the boomstick is marked its .688, check the paint to barrel match by putting some paint in the barrel and blowing it through, if it just rolls through or is really hard to blow through, its a bad match. Ideally it should blow through with ease, but not roll out.

thx... i found out that the balls i am using are very hard to blow through the barrels (stock and the boomy) in fact they get stuck and i end up need to use a flexi-swab to get the ball out of the barrel

chrony ur gun make sure its shootin around 290, if ur velocity is too high the balls may wander off, i recomend marbs or any rps brand of paint also.. dam, 18 inch??

hes got the right idea or buy a ball sizer. with longer barrels you have the ball rattling for a longer period of time which makes the ball take funky directions when it leaves the barrel. also bad paint like old or cheap out of round paint will not shoot good.

Everyone's right on target try fresh paint and be sure it matches up well with your barrel. Also you said the gun "kicks" a bit so you might be getting muzzle rise throwing you shots off.
