I'm currently running an IR3 Fly and picked up an A4 soft face, I'm not sure what the bolt is that I'm currently using although I'm pretty sure its stock(I bought the gun used). I was wondering if a ram adjustment is needed when I put the soft face in, or whether or not the difference is negligible.

Shouldn't have to adjust it at all. When you put the new bolt in, try closing the breech and listen for a "click". If there is no click, or its hard to close the breech then, and only then you would have to adjust the ram.

I had to tweek the ram on my Demon just a hair when I went from stock to the 4 bolt. It probably just depends a lot on the gun.

Thanks guys I didn't think it would matter much I'll throw it in later this week and make sure it still "snaps" in.
