View Full Version : Cops is acting up , again!

ok guys i got a new cops ssyetm in my gun and i was setting it up the other day and the gun was super annoying. if i put it on sens 8 (or was it 9) it would fire slow even if the rev was on, if i put it on 10 it would fire fast but sould dry fire and or chop paint . Any help? its a mem 3 board. also i have a 12v revv w/ x board.

Wanna hear something radical? I removed the sensor pin and filed it until it was almost flush with the chamber when re-installed (+.005"). The halo slams hard enough for it to read if you set it sensitive enough. This also took away the fear that the pin may have been part of my "exploding paint" problem...sticking too far up and nicking the ball as it passed. I am awaiting "boos" from the techs on this one!

ok.....first: do the drop test in the setting that you have and if it pass.... and about the hopper not lineing up...to ck the neck of your hopper and see if the eye lines up......? so do this: take half of the hopper and put it in the neck ( with the side where the eye is and put the balls in) this is the easy way.....if this pass then: go with the setting:MROF should come down to 12-13bps Dwell should come up to: 15-16 and the CMROF is 12-13bps .... see if help?

15 or 16 for dwell? and why such a low rof 12-13 is to slow for my liking. the hopper lines up i knwo that.

what that does (dewll)...this control the air to the paintball...simple terms. More the Dewell = Lesspaint Breakage....Y....this give more air out (More Tolerance on soft Shell)..... and as you V-L the best that can do is 12-13bps....so if you set this higher this will cause chopping....

ok where is the grease? and i just got a new sensor put in?

i tried it tou last nigth and i was suing cops and it was wokring ok but all of a sudden it was just firing really slow,i think it went back to the base level of fire (1) cause it couldnt sense a ball but there was a stack there ready to shoot. so i turned the cops off and no problems (othert than chiopping cause my rev is to slow.

i had a slow motor in one of my v-l before....can you get a another one from a friend and ck it out and if that fix it, then you now know what it is.......???

I had a finiky sensor- when it somehow broke (I think my faulty halo pushed so hard on the rod that it snapped the sensor- I don't have any other explanation for it), I got it replaced by the angel guy- I don't know if he got a really awesome batch of sensors or what, but the new one can detect a paintball FINE on sens 2 or 3, sometimes even 1, and doesn't fire on dryfires. Works great.
