Aftermark Regulator

I need to know if there is another / aftermarket regulator that I can purchase for the Angel 4? When I have chrono it between 289 - 295 - 260 - 288. Any advise would be great.

Many times it's the paint. My field went through a bad batch of PMI Premium that would never chrono consistantly. I put Evil in there and I was +/-3 fps.

I think the mini-reg is a pretty good reg, but not a great one. I am going to be trying a CP reg and I will let you guys know how it does. I get pretty consistant shots when I am shooting slowly at the chrono, but when shooting fast, it seems that all my shots are just a hair slower. This is usually the case with anything less than a high end reg bacause of the pattern of the regulators recharge rate. During rapid fire, my fps readings are probably something like this: 280,260,261,259,260....

How well broken in is the gun? Perhaps the mini-reg has too much "goop" in it right now. You can clean it and lightly lube it and put it back together, it'll help if not outright solve your issue.

I had exactly the same problem with my A4. I tried replacing the mini reg with a Dye Hyper-reg. Still the same probelm.

I just ignored it and after about 5000 cycles it became more consistant. Seems like new agnels need some time to bed in.

I'm on +-20 000 cycles and shoot 289,289,291.

The only time I ever have probelms now is when using incorrectly matched pain / barrel. Evil pipe solved that problem.

+/- 1 fps with my LCD using A Dynaflow, HyperInline and either Chronic or Evil Paint.

The macdev galdiator and aka sidewinder are great regs and probably the best ones out there right now

this was happening to me also but with crappy paint I use a big bore barrel which wastes air but its consistant, 282-282-281 is an average for me.
