Dwell settings??

I am looking for the recommended dwell setting for my angel speed. I currently have a large vollumiser installed and are using a small parts max flow unit which is pumping around 330 to 350 which is recomended i am told. I am looking for proformance and are not too worried about gas consumption. i use high quality paint. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

is setting a dwell thAT high take away from the speed and proformance of the gun?? I thought a high dwell setting makes the gun more tolerable to crappy paint. Also if thats the case i am having poor consumtion on my dwell set at 12.. if i move it up it will be alot worse??
