I was just wonder why this would go on the exhust side of the marker. Theroy states it should go on the LPR side to give you more volume or assesable air. :drink:

The LPR side runs the solinoid and ram, while the exhaust valve side is the side that delivers air to the ball when firing and so needs the most volume.

one on both sides is a good way to go, that way you have plenty of air going to both the selenoid and the valve...but put the largest one on the exhaust side.

the way i first heard volumizers described.......
say ur gun takes one "unit" of air to fire. ur gun w/o the volumizer holds, say, three units. fire fast enough, with a certain pressure setting, and the three units are gone before the gun can get another unit into it for more firing, meaning drop off. throw a volumizer on, and the number of units jumps to say, seven. now theres enough time at that same pressure for the units that have been shot to recharge, preventing drop off.
If that didn't make sense, ask for a clarification. I'm so bad at explaining crap.
But winter001 was fully rite....the lpr pressure goes to the solenoid/ram, and the valve pressure goes to the firing of the ball (which is why operating pressure is always higher than lpr pressure)

right..... but the lpr keeps up fine in an angel....even at 31 bps, but teh valve side allows more"units" of air available to the valve.... this sllows a lower pressure burst which is softer on paint, quiets the gun and allows for people who need to have their guns low pressure

The volumizer on the LPR side goes back to the LED/LCD days when the air passages were smaller. Then the theory was that the extra air gave the 14 way a larger pool of Low Pressure air to draw from to prevent shoot down. The newer guns don't suffer from this problem though. With the Speed and 4/Fly the larger volumizer goes on the exhaust valve side of the gun.

what would the efficiency be like with two dirt volumizers. right now i have one and i dont get very good efficiency
LPR:a little over 5
DWELL: 10ms
MODE 2
this is with a hp tank but a sidewinder on to reg down the input pressure
sorry if this should be a new thread just let me know and i will delete it

I'm guessing you mean your LPR is a little over 50. It's interesting to me that you're not getting a good shot count. It looks as it you're doing everyting right. What exactly is your shot count and on what size/pressure tank?

i was using a crossfire hp tank 45/4500. with that i only got around 600 shots maybe 700 at the max!:thumbsdow
a little over 5 bars is this too high?? about 70+ psi

I assume it was a good 4500 fill as well. That is a little low I would think you should get around 900-1000. Good paint barrel match? Another thing to remember the Speed is a Low pressure gun. Lower pressure=Higher volume

A little over 5 Bars??? How were you checking the LPR?

well i took out the end cap on the lpr side and put in my gauge then i put on the volumizer and gassed up the marker the gauge has bar/psi measures

Ok so it's "BAR" not "BARS" that's what had me confused. Sorry about that. It looks as if everything is set up fine, LPR might be a little on the high side but not really, mine's running 62 right now with a dwell of 15. It might be your paint barrel match that's about the only thing I come up with right away.

i was using some vein left over from skyball and it fits perfectly through my ultralite. does anyone have a setup that will give better efficiency... also do you think my efficiency would be better with a low pressure tank??

It might get better w/ a low pressure setup. As for settings try Kens setup as a starting point.

alright thanks a lot for all the help...i should be getting a hyperflow adjustable tank soon so we will have to see what happens
