Help upgrading angel speed

i have an angel speed, with a wdp volmiser, egg II speed board, small parts lp adjust air, etc etc, i have some money to blow and was wondering what upgrade options i have. I have many barrel sets so i am not worried about that. I can use the help since i am not that tech with guns. I am looking to spend anywhere from 100-400 lets say.. thanks

leave it all stock. Speeds have cr@ph re-sale ne ways. Just a money pit you wont get your investment out. I have like $300 in ups and whish i left it stock all blue which was kool. Once you start puting on add on parts you may come accross problems. They shoot great straight from the factory. You dont half to mess with the LPR due to volumizers ort any thing.

For speed concerns, I believe the stock board with the trigger set up right, should be able to outshoot your egg! You could get a Z board for your egg to upgrade, or try a faster hopper, like an Empire or Halo.

I hear ya, I was thinking about the Total fly conversion at fixmyangel.com?? anyone heard of it? they replace your speed board with an a4 fly board so you get a nice eye thats backed by wdp, and a sick rof? its supposed to make the gun sicker then sick.... I am not worried about selling the gun cause i love it and i am going to keep it.. i am talking pure proformance...

I'd personally go with the Soft Face bolt. I never really liked the Jam bolt on my 'Cocker. I used the Check It Full Force V3.0 bolt. When it comes down to it, getting the bolt to pinch the paint and not chop it - like the Jam bolt is designed - is just tweaking ur gun and operating pressure. I did it to my 'Cocker. I'd also suggets getting some type of a locking feed neck.

I think it loads it to fast?? or maybe uses to much pressure in the feed neck. everyone i know who has a speed has this problem with the halo b.. the more i look at this conversion the sweeter its looking, the milling is nice everything looks like its done from the factory.. ANyone have the fly conversion done to there gun????

The Halo B problem comes from it being a force fed hopper and a lot of the times it breaks the Sensi rod. As far as a "Speed" board in your Egg? What's that, unless your talking about the Z-Board?

Heh, I understood what you were saying. It's all good. If you can afford it and you prefers eyes over the Sensi system, I'd say go with the Retro Kit. It's like $350 and the MT's do an awesome job.

Some people are saying you get a better rof and you are less likely to chop paint?? is this true?? i like the sensi i rarely chop. and my trigger is worked sweet. i dont mind using a eye its supposed to be better anyway

This is where personal preference and how much money your willing to spend come into the issue. I personally love my Sensi and have had no problems with it. If you set it up everytime you turn your gun on, it works flawlessly with the right care - keeping it clean, etc...

i agree. when you set it up right everytime you play it works awsome, I dont know about you i am avg 1-2 chops every case of paint. Works great. I just cant belive the eye is supposed to be better then that?? Can doing the conversion really give you a better rof also?? its amazing..

I've only chopped one ball, and that was just this past weekend and I've put problably 6 cases through my Speed. As far as getting a better ROF with the Retro Kit, I believe I'm correct in saying that the Fly board is capped at 31 BPS, so that's only 1 more than the 30 BPS board the Speed has. But getting a ROF that high would take some Godly fingers that I've never seen done, and probably won't see done in a long time. Like I said, if you would rather have eyes than the Sensi, then go for it. But I wouldn't see the need since you have no problems with your Sensi as it is.

Lol its true. So then the claims of 5-6 bps is just bs then.. ANd its true i have no problems with the sensi.. thanks alot brother. i guess i will chill out and see when a couple of peeps get there guns worked, and then make a decision.

Well, I don't want to give the impression that your guaranteed 1 more BPS in your ROF. It's just that the board is capped 1 higher.

Well, if by some miracle you got a Halo B that didn't jam on you and actually work pretty nicely with your Speed, you could put a Victory Board in it and it'd keep up with the 31 BPS. As far as your fingers going that fast... I don't even know if that's possible.

it sucks cause i have a brand new halo b i used twice. but it chopped paint. I have to try it again. if it works and doesnt chop paint i should get the victory board. do you know where to find it??? what are you using with your speed???

I use a Egg with a Z-Board. I got sick of seeing my teammate's Halo's always jam. Plus, I kinda like how the Egg is set back. As far as finding a place to buy the Victory Board, last I heard from a teammate you can't buy one and get it shipped to you. You have to send in your Halo and they install it for you.

ahh i hear ya... so your boys are having problems with it too. Good so its not me.. i know one guy who has an a4 uses the halo. He has no problems with it. It makes all the guys at the field go nuts. he was claiming he changed his ball detents, But it made no sense to me..

hey i just checked out the video in the conversion forum. The gun is sick.. very smooth like the fly. I just got some info. it does make the gun alot easier to achive higher Rof do to the board.. seems pretty sick. I am still curious.
