View Full Version : My friend broke somehting in my trigger HELP

i need help my friend was holding my gun by the trigger itself, it is a cobra trigger and he heard something snap. wen i turned it off adn back on it would no longer fire, how do i fix this? ( the led lights did not go up if there id any confusion)

Check to see if he somehow broke the OPTO leaf off.....maybe a set screw broke off....
Open her up and tell us what is wrong??? Need more info!!

why hold it by the trigger? that is what the grip is for. send some pics to see if anything is missing, bent or stuck. could of broken the opto and ruined the board.

yeah...you're gonna need to open the grip frame and take a look at it...

Hopefully he didn't break the Opto leaf (which is what it sounds like). Like has been said we need more info to be of any help.

That happened to me when I was trying to adjust my trigger, so I took it to the nearest paintball store and they fixed it. The trigger is a little stiff but at least it works. :pileocrap

well i took it to my local store adn he said it is the micro switch has broken does anyone no how much those r. im goin to capecod paintball this weekend so ken can look at it thanks for ur replies o yea the opto leaf is fine wen i push it in nothin still happens

you broke your opto sensor. not the leaf itself. but it can still be fixed.

Well, it could really only be 3 things. The Opto sensor, Opto leaf, or the toe screw.

thanks guys my speed is replzaced i had to replace the whole board adn cost me 150 for a opto sensor but w/e thanks alot!

Someone never touching your gun again huh? But at least he paid for what he broke and you got a new board in the process.
