Make sure the connections are good. Board "cascading".
Check board to battery connection. Bend outer pins a little from | | to \ /.
Do you "top off" your charge alot? The manual warns against this because the battery will develop "memory" and not hold a charge properly.

I thought the new IR3, Speed, A4 batteries didn't have that problem? I was under the impression it was the nicads that suffered from memory problems.
Brett,
That you?? What'd you do to your gun?

With Speeds and A4's its perfectly alright to top it off, the batteries arn't nicads. Just one question, is the power switch on your gun in the "on" position while you are charging it? and if so are the lights cascading?

topping off shouldnt hurt the batteries,
but that definately sounds like you need a new battery to me though, i had the same problem with my ir3's battery but a new battery fixed it up
