Damn, I like see the questions. HOWEVER.......do you have the manual?? if not, go here http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/

Now as far as factory setting, I don't know if it the same for all. Mine was Sensi 2. If you really need to know yours...do a reset and check it.

Well you should read the manual before you get it. It's available online and reading it now will give you a heads up on things. That way when it comes it will be easier to set up and you will be playing that much sooner.

Relax. You have to remember that when someone says to check the manual or do a search it's because that same question is either directly addressed in the manual or it's been asked more times than we can count. Now if you read the manual and still have questions then feel free to ask away.

The Speed manual is funny. I mean it's high quality, great pictures of the parts. The color is super and the paper quality is fantastic.

But!

1) The warnings between every paragraph make it a tedious read.
2) The information is incomplete or scattered throughout the manual.
3) A lot of information is vague. (See example below)
4) Explanations are missing (Again, see below)

3 - Sensi modes. They have a paragraph explaining each of the modes, but 99.9% -
100% of the paragraphs are identical. At most they change one or two words. Should be MUCH more clearly worded.

4 - No mention of "calibrating the sensi" that I can find. No (or inadequate) recommended or example configurations for tanks/pressures, etc. You have to come here and search for the post to find that info. Paltry explanation of the LED lights.

And yet the graphics are so great and the manual is so much better than other manufacturers that we ignore all of the downsides.

So what's my point? Only that perhaps we should be more forgiving when someone comes in here and says "wtf"? I've seen people angrily post "RTFM!" many times here, when the information requested IS NOT IN THE MANUAL.

squidly.. thank you for understanding.. yeah alot of the things in the manual are not there or not clearly stated. but a quick question for everyone.. what is the factory setting on the sensi? which mode do they have it on and will that be fine to use when firing fassssst? also which sensi mode is best for fast firing with no ball breaks? thanks

I believe mine was on 2.

Mine was on 2. But, the Sensi mode is so easy to change (no tools needed except for a 2mm allen, and that comes with the gun) that it doesn't really matter which one it's set to when you get it. I'm not wanting to sound like a jerk at all, I agree the manual is sometimes a little vague, but when you get the gun you'll see this is a super-easy thing to both check and set. I promise! :)

Oh, and Sensi 'modes' are not quite like 'modes' on other guns.
* Sensi modes control -how- the gun detects balls, while modes on other guns usually control how many balls the gun fires with each trigger pull.
* The Speed ALWAYS fires 1 ball with each pull (though Sensi may prevent it from firing if no ball is detected). No 3-shot burst, ramp mode, or whatever.
