OK guys just got done with what had to be my worst day ever. Velocity all over the place and such some of which was no doubt paint/barrel match. Anyway, I checked my LPR when I got home and it reads 82 vice the 101 I left the house with. I'm assuming this is due the beak-in, the gun has just over 8200 on the shot counter. So I put in one more shim LPR now jumps to 105 and do the recommended "oil service" now the PLR seems stable at 105.

Has anybody else noticed this before? From what I understand 4-5 cases is about the break-in period for the gun. Or do any of the Techs out there think I'd be better off sending it in to have looked at.

Thanks

could have been grease between the shims....same thing with my gun too. no problem. lpr-pressure should now stay there...

SAME thing happened to me man. For the first 2 or 3 weeks I had my Fly (through about 5 cases), it shot perfectly. Then all of a sudden (during a tournament no less) i couldnt get above 200fps. I checked my LPR and it was at like 75 psi. After reshimming the LPR back up to around 100psi, it worked great and i havent had a problem since.

Thanks guys. I e-mailed Frazer and according to him this is a normal thing. It seems that the spring stack loses its "spring" and needs to be rechecked every so often. And yea I know about the tournament thing too that's when it happened to me, damn Murphy!!

i had my lpr set to 100 before i got my own tool kit. then when i checked it while adjusting it myself it said 85. i put it at 95 then after a case or 2 later i noticed that i was gettin drop off during rapid fire. i knew this was the lpr because of my impulse lpr experiences. i checked it and it said 80! i raised it up to 95 again and its been a few weeks and hasnt budged. so there was definitely a break in period. i think the break in has to do with the spring stack breaking in and the grease moving from between shims to somewhere else. so if i could do it again i would have just taken out all the grease in the lpr except on the o-rings.
