Snap ring Q?

My friends Ram is a little bit forward and its hard to close the breach. How would i adjust the Snapring is it all the way in and back out until it cycles or all the way out then in till it cycles?

Just back out the ram a touch, you still want slight resistance when you close the breech. This ensures the bolt pin is resting on the back of the hammer. When closing the breech you should hear a click.

but this should have nothing to do with your snap ring, just do what thog said and it should fix yoru problem

Everyone's right. What you're describing is a Ram position problem.
