I recently bought a new a4. I went at radioshack and I bought a car plug convertor that is adapted to plug it at every energy source of your home. After 4hours 35 minutes, I checked the battery indicator and it showed a full charge. I open my gun sometime to surf into the board, look at the tempeture etc. I was supose to shipped my gun to fix my lpr to 50 but just before shipping it, I took a look at my gun if everything was working perfectly and I my big surprise my problem happen. I turn my marker on "on position and I see the indiglo screen whitout the little angel pictures. I took a look at the battery indicator and it showed nothing in the 3 little squares. 3 or 4 seconds later the battery indicator was showing a full energy capacity, I mean the little black squares were full. I said to myself don't panick, I pressed the green bottom, NOTHING HAPPEN, I pressed the yellow one and NOTHING HAPPEN AGAIN, when I pressed the red bottom my gun was rebooting and again the same patturn, No battery indicator and it showed nothing in the 3 little squares. 3 or 4 seconds later the battery indicator was showing a full energy capacity. I pressed the green bottom, NOTHING HAPPEN, I pressed the yellow one and NOTHING HAPPEN AGAIN, when I pressed the red bottom my gun was rebooting again. I turn off my markers and I turn it on after 24 hours later and again the same problem. I wrote a later to the wdp thenicien an when he received he wasn't understanding my problem because everything was working perfectly so you understand my scare I think the problem is intermittent. What should I do, ship my gun back and ask them to give me a new board? Is there anybody that know the source of that problem?

PS: My gun nerver SHOT PAINT, I only shot 100 air shot and maybie 150 shot whitout any air, I was only simulating...

did you try to un plug the battery from the board.. i would do that and then try to reset the board...other than that im not sure that wall charger might have done something to it though.

Merd!
Sounds like you have an intermittent issue and it's not easily reproduced so it makes it tough to troubleshoot. Correct?
Have you had a tech actually inspect the gun? Physically?

I only shipped my gun and they called me to understand the problem they haven't seen. Unplug the battery and reploug it will do what?

Unplug the battery, plug it back in and hold the two inside buttons (blue and yellow) untill the board resets. Make sure all the wires are connected properly and that they are not loose.

The other thing is that if its brand new, it needs at least TWO complete charges before it works properly.

If its still not working after that, I would talk to whoever you bought the gun from since its brand new.

So, do you suggest me to charge it again? How many time? If I charge it again is my battery will loose memory like it says in the manual?

They said that it is very important to make sure that the battery is out of energie before charging it because they will have memory trouble and it will decrease the longevity of the battery...

For the moment I can open my gun without any problem. I'm only scared that the day I will use it, my gun will have this intermittent problem :cryer: because for the moment I couldn't play with it because I have no bottle. I'm waiting my MacDev Conquest which is back order

Yes charge it again. The manual says to make sure its drained before charging and it will only get "memory" if you do it alot. Once or twice will not hurt it.

:scratchhe but I'm now in a dillema, I problem didn't occure yet but you suggest me to charge it again, When do I stop the charging because the battery aren't moving so it mean that the battery is full isn't?

I think the problems you are having with your gun is because you did not give it the two complete charging cycles that it needs before you first use it. Its all in you manual.

One or two bad charges will not hurt anything. If it happens alot, then the battery will start to hold less charge (the "memory" mentioned in the manual).
