A4 is the older version with SENSi. Fly is the newer version with eyes.

its not all hype. the fly 4 has eyes which is a much more effective antichop measure, stock low-rise, stock slayer trigger, slightly lower operating pressure. all hype would indicate its nothing special and its juss like any other gun but i've shot this thing and everyone i know who has shot it loves it and agrees it would prolly be the last gun they would ever get

Fly is shorter and lighter then the a4, has the EyeQ angel eyes, which work like a dream, fly also has modes that are unlocked.

How is a better, more fool-proof technology considered hype? If sensi is working like a charm for you, congrats. It is a good system, but to deny that the EyeQ is a better system would be the Ostrich syndrome. It's called progress.

it's shorter and lighter? I didn't know that, I thought it was the same body, just milled differently

oh, I see what you mean. "This new technology (eyeQ, new board) is packed into the smallest lightest Angel (Angel 4)" I'll insert my thoughts in red. Because it is the Fly 4, right? I'm not sure, I don't have both, if it is lighter, then that is one more reason I need to get a Fly (I'm starting to run out of reasons not to)

It is a fly 4. Usually they just do custom milling on the sides of the "fly" series of guns. From what I read it implies its shorter (smaller) and not just lighter (milling on side). Can anyone clear this up?

Glad to hear that you enjoy the site and are learning. It's good to get a jump start on things. You also might want to check the online manuals and the FAQ section, if you haven't already.

I think the "shorter" they are refering to is the height....by using the low rise instead of a the regular one they've lowered the profile of the marker. It's still the same body length.

Well Carles I talked to a WDP tech when I bought my 4 and looked at the fly also but didn't have enough cash money to buy it. He told me that really wasn't much difference between weight and I hate the milling on the flys
and he said that the SENSI is technically a better system then the eyes on a fly IF it works all the time and which when I got mine home SENSI worked great. My 4 also came with a slayer trigger so I am quite happy with it and wouldn't trade it for anything right now but I'm not saying I won't get it eyeqed this summer :biggthump
