No. You as the end user cannot do anything to change your software from MEM4 to MEM6A. In order for you to get the new software you will either have to call a tech/service center who will do a board swap, or you will have to send your marker to WDP and they can do it. Either way send an e-mail or call before shipping anything to get an accurate price, and a time frame on how long your marker will be gone.

really? i thought the point of the palm software was to be able to update your ir3 with new software.

The palm software is just a convenience tool for changing you settings. Saves you the trouble of opening up the grips, plus its a fun feature. At major tournaments, WDP will have the gear to upgrade your software, if you don't feel like sending it out.

Yep it's gonna cost you $400 to do the swap. Call me and I'll take care of it for you, no problems, no questions asked. The number is 1-800-Idontknowhowtosearch

In case you didn't figure that out it was pure sarcasm. Why you might ask, well because this has become a topic that comes up almost every other day. If you search, or read some of the topics instead of asking to be spoon fed you will find it much quicker than waiting for someone to respond. I don't believe that any firm price has ever been put out by anyone on how much it will cost you to change your board. You will have to contact the service tech of your choice. We have some great sponsors who are all capable of doing the job, as are any of the service centers listed in the stickied topic inside this very forum. Please feel free to call the tech of your choice, and ask them what you will need to do, and how long it will take, etc.
