Detent Question

I have a 2k2 LCD and i was told by someone that the cobra indestructdent or whatever its called is able to handle the push of a halo without having to drill dbl detents. If this is true it would obviously save me money, so what do you guys think?

if it saves you money, why would you even ask whether to do it or not? First drilling double detents, especially yourself is risky, you mess up and your gun has a nice hole in the side. As for the detent i have a cobra indestruct, works great and its adjustable, never had a double feed with my halo. So if your going to do double detents, which in my experience there is no need to, have a machinist do it or someone with a drill press at least, to make sure the hole is straight.

if i was u i would try the halo first without spending money on a dent, i have stock dents on my halo has yet to double feed. but if it double feeds on u then i would buy them, dont waste money if your not sure if its gonna double feed or not

Buy 'em, leave 'em in the box, and if you get the halo and need them, you don't have to wait until they arrive. You can change them at the field. If you end up not needing them, send them back for store credit or refund or just sell 'em to someone that needs new ones.
