I know it's probably a long trip for a lot of you, but there are already almost 4,000. And i'll go ahead and tell you it's worth the trip, so who all's goin so far?

It's in Oklahoma and I've heard more bad stories than good about game play, sportsmanship, and safety....take it for what it's worth but I used to play for the Mayberry Marauders and we would never go to this event:wink:

Hmmm, I don't think I will be able to make it. I want to play some scenario games so bad, lol. But all of them are so far away from here in SD. Anyone know of any in the midwest area? (Minnesota, nebraska, South Dakota, north dakota, montana, wyoming, etc)

something else to remember is that this is not a Scenario...this is a Big Game. They are 2 very different games.

They're all true, Emmit. I covered that event 3 years straight, and every year I took pictures of refs AND players with their masks off on the field, etc.

I may be going up that way this year to cover it again, just because I could stay at Terry Garrett's house in Neosho. It's a huge event, and DeWayne has 450 acres to play with...you will have fun, but it's not a traditional scenario game by any stretch of the imagination. Think more along the lines of a Big Game format...rendered huge.

yeah, it's deffinately different from a scenario game, but it's the biggest paintball tournamet in the world. I already live in oklahoma so it's well worth it for me. I've seen problems with people taking their masks off before at d-day, but i know my mask will be down, so i'm ok

Have thought about it. But timing didn't fall into place, I have heard a lot of good things, and a few negative things. But all in all.. Its one hell of a large game, so if you are into that sort of thing it would be worth the trip I would assume. I only live about an hour out from it, but no way to do it this year. Maybe next.
