hey guys,
i was wondering if it is possible to actually have the sensi too high on the ir3 base so that the marker was too sensative, and thust making me chop more paint than i should. also was wonder if that i had it set more properly that it would improve the COPS speed a little more or at least make is better than it is.
im running a stock ir3 with an EVO II loader with stock board in it.
if someone could give me a little insight that would be cool
thanks guys

If you set your sens to 12 then your marker will think paint is in the breech just by firing it, so yes that setting wont do anything. I run an Evo 2 stock board and a cut feed neck and I shot 15 bps with no chops and my settings were 5 or 6 sens and a bas of 4. I just set the bas to 3 and I had one chop out of around 700 rounds, so I think the 3 is cutting a little close.

I don't think the manual explains it exactly. With COPS 2 the BAS setting is the number of miliseconds that the firing cycle will be delayed if COPS does not detect a ball in the breech. But when it comes to changing it that IS in the manual

In that case, BAS is the rof the gun is set to when no ball is detected and you are stil lpulling the trigger. As for sensitivity, another thing to check is if there is grease underneath the sensor in the grip frame. A lack of grease will make the sensor register the vibration of each shot as a ball dropping.
