I can find out the weight of the 45 and 68 A.I.R., and then you can add it to the weight of your gun.

The A.I.R. breaks down like this:
Reg (with half the WDP minidrop): 1lb 1oz
45 tank: 1lb 14oz
68 tank: 2lb 1oz
Reg+45: 2lb 15oz (basically 3lb)
Reg+68: 3lb 2 oz (basically 3lb)

There isnt a huge weight difference between the 45+68, just bulk.

I have an LCD, and the LCD (Gun, SS freak back, 10" freak teardrop front, half the WDP minidrop) weighs like this:
Gun: 3lb 6oz
Gun+45: 6lb 5oz
Gun+68: 6lb 8oz

The a4 is gonna weigh in at around 5 1/2 pounds with whatever sized AIR.

...the AIR does weigh more when it is full than when it is empty

Actually, air does weigh, atmospheric pressure is the weight of the air in the above you. I have an 80cf scuba tank that I use to fill my 68ci pball tank, and the scuba weighs noticeably more full than empty. In a small tank, like a 68ci, the weighed difference between completely empty and filled to 4500 psi would be small, but could probably me measured.

Thats like saying I can make my car lighter by taking a dump before I race. It IS lighter, but not enough to make a difference, or to be noticed.

it is quite a bit different actually, dont believe me? empty your tank and weigh it, then do it when its full, you see.

Nobody said it is enough to make a difference. All I said was that it does weigh enough to be noticed. The graphics on your tank add some amount of weight, but the are not enough to make a difference. If you would have said "the air doesn't weigh enough more full to make a difference", then I would have agreed with you, but you said "The air doesnt weigh any more full than empty...I hope you are talking about with a hopper full of paint...", so I had to disagree with that. Compressed air weighs more than you might think, a 68ci tank probably weighs a couple of ounces more full than empty.

Very valid point. I will agree with you, it does weigh a bit more full. I was simply trying to squash the thought that there was a big enough difference to worry about it.

You've got problems if you don't notice air in a tank, it's pretty easy to notice especially on a light gun like the A4.

got a problem? wouldnt it be better if you didnt notice the weight difference? i dont notice it. so i got 1 less thing to worry about. not like you have to worry, but you probably get my point. dunno how im gonna explain it in english...

Ah except when you are dealing with an AIR, you dont notice cause its like carrying a brick around. Dont get me wrong, I love my AIR so much, I ordered a SECOND one.

Heh, either way, air has mass, and when it compresses it gets heavier. If for some odd twist of science air didn't weigh anything, we'd have a hard time keeping our body parts together. I just find it odd that some one thought air is weightless and people didn't notice a difference of a filled and unfilled tank. My Impulse is a brick but it weighs a brick and a half with a filled tank. IT is harder to notice on a heavier setup, but I can still notice it. Especially after shooting all damn day.
