I got a heck of a deal on my wifes ring set it only cost me $300. But i got half off not to bad for the engagement ring and the wedding band and no it's not from wal-mart it's from a jewelry shop. But my ring we got from wal-mart just because i'm rough on stuff like that she's happy with it. The best i could say is to look around and get a good deal

I spent close to an even grand on my fiance's engagement ring. Still haven't bought the wedding bands yet tho.

I got off easy!!! She picked out three rings at a local jewlery store and told ME to pick one of them out to buy and I had a few days to decide. They ranged from $1300 down to $800 and only one came with the band. I put it off for a while and when I finally went down to get it the $1300.00 ring was on sale and I got it with the band for right around $700 and some change.
Of course she didn't know I got it on sale at first so I got to be cheap and the good guy at the same time :bigok:

I was pretty fortunate, in that my wifes neighbor owned a store, and had a contact to a diamond distributor located in Downtown Chicago. We both scheduled an appointment and were able to design a ring, at wholesale cost. I spent 1600.00 for the engagement ring, and another 200.00 for the band. After being married, I bought her diamond earrings, followed by a diamond heart shaped pennant, and finally, a diamond tennis braclet. She never once complained. Like they say " Diamonds are a girls best friend ".

I paid $2,000 for her engagement and wedding band set. If you are "popping the question" good luck!!!

Man I feel lucky. Bought my wifes in Japan and paid around 600.00. And I got mine in this little store in Osan ROK (1986) for like 50.00

you pay for what you get usually unless you are extremely charming and snag a deal or horrible at finding a decent ring and get rippped off. $1000 give or take $200 is the average people spend on just the engagement ring. Wedding bands little more expensive.
As for some of the band mounts and stuff don't cost much, you paying for the rock basically.
How do i know all this my gf relatives own around dozen shops and made millions of this stuff

Rule of thumb, the ring MUST cost more than your main marker setup. Otherwise you'll never live it down when she realizes you love paintball more than her.

Does that price reflect sponsorship or retail? I was lucky my ex didn't like rings, but now shes my ex so I'm screwed again

Words of wisdom from my grandpa
Always be proud to have your women and show it to her.
It's a two way street and remember to look both ways. (also very good when walking across a street with hunderds of mopeds and scooters in Siagon) ;)
It's the good, bad, ugly, and the deadly. (joking about my grandma makin his heart soft and causding his heart problems.)

when I bought my Fiance her ring and I showed it off to a friend that's the first thing he said "That looks like another Angel and an AIR setup there" and most of the guys on the team said "That's a whole 'nother gun man"

And that's Canadian of course. Man my girl friend is dilusional she's under the impression a ring is going to cost 7G. If they end up costing 7G's she going to be packing her bags! Either cause we'll be living in my parents basement for the next 5 years or I'm never buying a ring!

We dated for 6 years and have been married for two.
We have four bank accounts. A joint checking and joint savings and then we each have our own checking.
We contribute a certain amount to the joint accounts to pay the mortgage, utilities, gas, groceries etc...
The rest goes to our own accounts for our hobbies, lunches at work, so we can buy each other gifts that sort of thing.

I already been living with my girl for about 3 years so we just about married. Get some small family issues and loose ends to tie up.
What made you guys decide to pop the question

After less than a year we were living together. We finally married after almost 7 years, we just figured that we would make it "paper legal". I dispensed with all of the formalities and just took her to the jewelry store so she can pick out her own ring. I figured that if she's wearing it she should like it. With the sale and being a return customer we got a great deal, I think we paid 1200 for everything. The best part is that she likes it. I don't tend to do things the conventional way.

yeah, my wedding might have to wait. I got like easy 100 family on my side and not including freinds so add about 25-50 people. My girlfreind add another 100 family and about 15 friends. Doesn't include family friends so add about 200 or more.
Life is a lot less comlicated now that I dont have to think about how am i gonna charm these girls. Most of the girls that get played want the same thing or like the same stu ffand theres almost a universal formula to it. Otherwise they just nasty. Theres no point to me anymore meeting 2 girls the same day and trying to charm them to get something.
The player has to play the game and im not down or have the time and energy for that any longer. That my bro's job.

well.....my girlfriend is a year older then me, laugh's at nearly anything i say (i dont even have to try to make her laugh), and she likes me for me...she completely supports what i do...unless she thinks it's wrong, and she's not afraid to voice her opinion (believe me she isn't).
she may not be the most attractive person around, but she keeps me in line...and that is hard to do when practice comes around.

I sold a vintage Fender tube amp collection to buy my wife's ring...it was about $2000-3000...I'm not sure. I miss the amp collection, but I love the woman, so it evens out.
