I can only shoot about 11bps now. I try to walk my trigger but it seems the microswitch does not register when I try to rip on it. I just put the magno-mod (rare earth mags) on my gun but I still can't walk the trigger. Is there any way my microswitch could register faster!. I would love to shoot 14-15 bps If I can.

P.S I did get my rof to 14 once.........ONCE! :buckeye: :buckeye:

How long is your trigger pull, and where in the pull does the switch activate? Also, how heavy is your trigger?

my trigger pull is sort of short. and with my magno mod the trigger is very light.............. It seems that im not letting of on the trigger long enough for the micro switch to reactivate...

ps i have only owned my angel for about 1 month so I kinda new to everything....

You may have it too short...

Sounds like its time for a trigger job.

Try to get the activation point a little further back, and/or make the trigger a little heavier. This should solve most of your problems. Trigger length can be kept relatively short if you have a strong enough return (if not, it'll bounce)

What's your MROF set at? It's much harder to hit say, 14 if your MROF is set at 14-16. If you have your max at 20, then it'll be easier to get to 14-15 bps. How many magnets did you use for your mod? I tried just two at first, and the trigger just wasn't heavy enough. I put two more in and that felt good for awhile, but a little too stiff in the end. By using 3 of the rare earth magnets, I was able to get a perfect tension feel w/ a good, snappy return. Which mod did you do, I can tell you how to adjust it if I know which one you used.

I glued two rare earth magnets to my gun... 1 behind the trigger and one on the trigger. yea I hit 14bps when my mrof was set at 20. It did speed up the bps.

would putting more mags on my gun help? :pat:

Nope, thats about how fast you can pull. Fastest I even hit was 16, and I never saw it again.

The reason why these new guns shoot faster is that they are A). Optoswitch and B). Have nice bounce :)

14bps is about average speed

The highest i ever got my counter was 14, but when i shoot with paint/air over a red chrono i hit 16-17.

I don't worry how fast I shoot. I don't need to shoot much more then 14 bps. I go through a lot of paint but that's because I never let off the trigger. But if we wanna have a constant of around 17. What would you guys suggest?? I can't get mine up to that. I have 15 bps max so far. Any suggestions on how I can get up higher?

its how fast you can pull the trigger...or just get one of the new boards and add some bounce.

yea, that's what we commonly refer to as bounce.

and major, best thing you can do is practice

you could also mess with your trigger job to add some bounce

The problem is that the angel board only checks the trigger 20 times a second... to actually achieve this rate (or even get close) you have to practically be a robot. You would need to hit the trigger exactly every .05 of a second (not any earlier, and not any later). Another reason why newer boards are faster is because they really do check the trigger faster (according to WAS 1,000,000 times a second). Don't get the wrong idea, most of the reason the new boards are so fast is b/c of bounce.

So in summary, if you set your MROF to 15 you'll actually acheive about 10, if you set it to 20 you'll get about 15. Does this make sense?

yeh...gotta work on walking...not real great yet. My last gun was an A-5 w/ response...now I think...

I bought that why? :again:

But I need to practice.

Hey moogle, do you like FF7?? or any of the FF's??

Hmm i check my gun for bounce when i set the trigger because i prefer not to get caught and busted for it. I think that whats REALLY happening here is since i am shooting with air i can get some movement with the gun of my shoulder so it is "mechanical" bounce, not electrical.

bounce is bounce...

or get aspace frame which i did andi can hit 17 now i went from 13 to 17. because of how much bounce you get but you haveto sand and file the paint out of the frame where the trigger goes
