Lately I've been having problems with a lot of breech breaks. I used a halo, but switched to a revvy and the problem still occurs (not just when shooting fast).

Ram is set right, the bolt clicks when I shut the breech. Problem occurs with both the stock bolt and the A4 (both have same ram setting). LPR is set perfect, recharges well. Dwell is set @ 14, bumped it up to 16 and it didn't help any. Tried all brands of paint (all shot fine out of the autococker). Paint/barrel match is great. The only thing I notice is that looking down the barrel hole @ the ball stack it appears the second ball is way too low, but I don't know what would be causing this ???

It might be sitting futher back because the ball is allowed to slide a little back before making contact with the bolt. As for the chopping, have you cehck the detents or tried changing them?

you shouldnt be getting that with the A4 bolt, atleast not as much if any,
is your bolt clicking with the BACK of the hammer and not the front?

and check your ball detents and clean them, if they are getting stuck or are broken it would lead to chopping

Are you using a high rise or low rise? When I was using my Halo with a high rise, there was enough downward force to push the second ball just low enough that it got pinched by the bolt. I switched out to a low rise and the problem went away. It sounds like there is too much force on the ball stack. I hope this helps.
