About a year ago i friend of mine sent his 2k1 lcd to warped sportz southest to get fixed. it would power on but would never get to safe mode screen. got if back from warped and it worked for a lil while. i bought the gun from him about six months later. Shortly after getting it from him the gun did the same thing, would power on but never got to safe mode screen ( backlight on lcd would stay on but nothing was on the board). I figure the board has gone bad again, so i order another from adrenalin and install it. Yesterday i wake up and get my stuff rdy to go play some ball...check my angel and its done the same thing again. So now that is 3 boards that has been put into this gun...and i seriously doubt it has been the board the whole time. :wall: Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of charger are you using? Is it charging correctly? Ever try a different battery?

Try using someone elses charger and/or battery. Your board might not be getting enough power from the battery and doesnt boot properly/screen fades out.

Sounds like your battery.

Could just be the LCD screen. Have you tried to hold the top button down and put into fire mode w/ out being able to see it? If you can still get it to fire, then it's the screen.

Good point, but he said that he replaced the board twice already. Do the boards come with the screen, or did you use the same one?

I think they just put the screen on from the old board, but I'm not sure.

Generally the same LCD screen is used as they rarely ever go bad.
