As the title says Metallica was awsome lastnight at the roanoke civic center and it was my first concert! yay!
Some stupid lady got in a mosh and had to get carried out on a stretcher and that was probably the most hardcore thing of the night and for it to be a woman that is awsome.
Yeah so are any of you guys going or have went to a Metallica concert this year while they were on tour? If so then you heard about the movie that is coming out this summer about the band and how they came together and what not. Anyways like I said everything was awsome although I was a little disappointed they didn't play Master of Puppets they did play many of there hits and like 3 or 4 new St. Anger songs such as frantic, St. Anger and I can't remember the other 2. Definitly worth my $60. -Eddie

I seen them and Limp, Linkin park, deftones last year at Summer Sanitarium last year in HOtlanta. They rocked alot harder and faster then I figured they could since they are actually getting sort of old. However I was very impressed with Limp's performance, even though I had stopped being a fan of theirs. Anyway i go see metallica again this wed. at lexington, Ky. I hope they don't play as much pre-load stuff as they did before.
Last time I was a baseball field distance away from them, this time I am on eye level and can spit on the stage.

wow, lets not start a flame war here. I saw them along with godsmack this year in Reno Nevada. It was the coolest concert i have been to. There was lots of boobies and some wierd smelling smoke in the air. (mary j). overall it was awesome. I liked when they played "one", there was lots of pyrotehcnics.

Since this is turning into a bit of a bragging contest, I am a light/sound technician on the side and I work at concerts (with the venue, I dont tour).
