This may help some people... If you haven't done this yet give it a try.

Take out your plastic disc in the gated feed, bend all of them down just a little bit. Put it back in and put three balls in, turn it up side down, if the balls fall out you bent the paddles too far. Try to get it so they are slightly bent down but still able to stop paint from rolling back out.

I found this to really help with the "last few balls in hopper" problem.

Sounds like too much work for a 5 cent piece of plastic. But I know what you mean it usaully takes at least 2-3 balls to push pass the gated feed. So I usually try not to get that low but some good advice.

I never experienced feed probs when i used the gated feed...

I havent had any problems with the gated feed either, although i dont think it matters with a Halo.

I feel like a tart being the only one with this problem.

It's the 0.50$ parts that kill me. I'm always the guy trying to fix my fill nipple because that little o-ring burst.

I noticed the same thing but was to afraid to screw with them.

Ill bend mine a little and see if i notice a improvment.
