I am searching desperatly to buy a NiCad LCD charger, will other chargers work? Can I rig something up instead of spending $65.00
TIA

Best bet is not to rig something up and just buy or find a older charger. If nothing else call one of the sponsors, they might even have a used one laying around for a good price?

I had a look at my NiCad battery and it states that it wants a 70mA input and needs to charge for 15 hours. I had a look down at my local RadioShack and they couldn't help me out with either a car charger or a wall charger because they didn't have anything that would go that low. So I thought I'd try a 300mA charger and, well... yeah, that didn't work. I can't say I expected it to either, so I took the charger back to the Shack and got a dandy refund. Best advice, buy a WDP charger, I think I might have cooked part of my board, the ROF counter keeps resetting (I don't recall that happening before) whenever I turn her off.

If you really feel raw about just buying a charger it wouldn't be too far out there to buy a new NiMH battery/charger combo, they're like $85 (as I recall anyway).

Edit - Fix My Angel battery/charger combo LINKY! (http://www.fixmyangel.com/modules.php?name=catalog&file=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=43)

It's worth it to get the newer NiMh battery and charger, the battery is much better and you don't have to worry about battery memory shortening the life of the battery.

VFX fenix: The ROF always resets after you turn off the marker.

Unless he means the MROF...
ROF: "This records the highest rate of fire acheived over a 1-second period" The ROF can be zeroed at anytime. (see page 13 in manual).
MROF: "Maximum rate of fire limit: This allows you to tune your maximum allowed rate of fire to your playing style and feed system -> This can not be changed be the external menu." That should not be resetting. If your MROF is changing when you turn off the board, you zapped something.

DO NOT USE A CHARGER THAT IS NOT DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR ANGEL.
They use a specific voltage and amperage for a reason. The other thing is that it stops charging automatically when the battery reaches a certain charge. If you use a charger that was not designed for your gun, you run a good chance of frying your board. Charger + new battery = $85. New LCD board = $100. Do the math on that one.

yeah, the ROF resets, the MROF doesn't

Then you are ok. My ROF...accually let me check....yea mine resets too. You are safe there. Everything stays except ROF.
