After gassing up my fly, i noticed a very pronounced leak coming from the RAM. It shoots straight up out of where air goes into the bolt. It fires just fine, but it continuously leaks. I ran some oil through it, which helped for a bit, but after doing more dry fireing it started leaking again. Any indears?

sounds exactly the exhaust valve seating problem with the 4's. This was common with running the LP set up...try slamming about 500 psi directly into the marker to seat the valve, and shoot a couple of tanks through it.

I had this problem with my A4. After replacing various parts, etc., I realized that the screw holding the grip frame to the body (right in front of the trigger), was loose. Just a thought.

If it indeed is coming from the ram, replace the first o-ring on the ram assembly and that could solve your problems.

thanks all

I turned the velocity all the way up and slapped a red band (850) crossfire on her. after firing a couple of shots the leak stopped. i emptied the tank, replaced it with my blue band (450) crossfire. the leak was gone until the pressure in the tank dropped below 500 psi. This is a phenomenon i've experienced with other paintguns in the past, but never on an angel. Otherwise, the leak seems to be gone for now. I'll update if anything changes.

it'll really only happen for the first few bottles...once you've broken the gun in a little, and gotten the exhaust valve to seat good it won't happen again

True, but I think he meant to say exhaust valve: "It shoots straight up out of where air goes into the bolt."
